Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how My Slab Stats collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or use our collection-management service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account details, such as your name, email address, and authentication identifiers.
• Collection data, including card details, images, costs, grading, sales, expenses, want lists, and notes.
• Subscription information. Stripe processes payments; we do not store your complete payment-card number.
• Technical data, such as device type, browser, country, pages viewed, referring site, session identifiers, and diagnostic logs. We use a random first-party browser identifier for aggregate visitor counts and do not store your full IP address in our first-party analytics tables.
• If you allow marketing cookies, advertising data such as pages viewed, registration events, browser identifiers, and ad-attribution information.
• Messages and other information you send when requesting support.

How we use information

• Provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Authenticate users and preserve collection records across sessions.
• Process subscriptions, provide support, and send service-related communications.
• Prevent abuse, understand traffic and conversion, monitor performance, and comply with legal obligations.
• Generate the collection, grading, expense, and profit analytics you request.

How we share information

We share information only as needed with providers supporting authentication, payments, hosting, databases, analytics, and customer support. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transaction. We do not sell your personal information.

Connected services

The Service uses providers for authentication, payments, hosting, databases, AI-assisted image analysis, marketplace listings, card data, email forwarding, monitoring, and—when enabled with your consent—advertising measurement. These providers may include Clerk, Stripe, Vercel, Neon, OpenAI, Meta, eBay, The Card API, ImprovMX, and monitoring services we enable. We exchange only the information reasonably needed to provide each feature, and those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

When you allow marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel may measure page views, article views, and registration events and may help us create advertising audiences that include prior visitors or exclude people who registered. We do not send card collection contents, grading records, transaction amounts, or payment details to Meta. You can withdraw consent through the “Privacy choices” control.

When you use the AI Card Analyzer, the card images and instructions you submit are sent to our AI service provider to generate the requested analysis. Do not upload images containing personal or sensitive information.

When you follow an eBay marketplace link, eBay may set cookies or use similar technology to attribute qualifying purchases to My Slab Stats. We may receive commission and transaction-reporting information from the eBay Partner Network, but we do not receive your complete eBay payment credentials.

Retention and security

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may update account and collection information through the Service. The “Privacy choices” control lets you allow or reject optional marketing cookies and change that decision later. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing support@myslabstats.com. Certain records may be retained when required by law.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
